Slam Dunk Festival was so good. I think the highlights for me were A Rocket To The Moon and 3OH!3, I actually love them so much!
Robyn called me the other day telling me she managed to get us guestlist for the Mayday Parade show in Portsmouth if I was up for it. Errrrm, yes! So got to see A Rocket To The Moon again which was amazinggggg. Also the drive there and back was fun.
On the way back, her satnav decided to take us ‘Home’ which apparently was 40 minutes away from her actual home, in the middle of a forest which looked like the roads had been carved out by a murderer luring us into his lair. To take our mind off of the creepiness, we listened to some Dizzee Rascal. Then we got mcdonalds and ended up getting loads of freebies including fries and milkshakes. Result.
Anyway, Download Festival is next week. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I’m getting so so excited. Charlie is driving us up on Thursday as I’m seeing D.R.U.G.S in Camden on Wednesday.
I love going on little road trips so the drive up should be tons of fun :D (On that note, I should probably learn how to drive soon).
Currently writing down all the bands I want to see, hoping there’s some good signings happening as well!
After download, I don’t have much happening, so I’m definitely getting a summer job. Goodtimes.
I have a burning desire to go to either the Portsmouth or Bristol show as well as the London show and Download Festival.
